Dance Classes
Monique teaches the following dance and movement classes. For detailed information on class times and locations, please see the Schedule.
| Ballroom | Waltz, foxtrot, and tango. Class focuses on rhythmn, partnering, and combinations. |
| Hip Hop | A funky and energetic urban dance technique. Set warm-up and combination choreography. |
| Jazz | Jazz dance can be powerful and percussive or expressive and lyrical. Set warm up, across-the-floor, body isolations, and combination choreography. |
| Latin | Rumba, cha-cha, samba, merengue, and bachata. Class focuses on rhythmn, partnering, and combinations. |
| Lyrical | For dancers interested in a more expressive, emotional dance form. Utilizes ballet, jazz, and modern techniques. |
| Performance Class | By invitation only. From time to time Monique invites accomplished dancers to learn a choreography in a specific style of ballroom dance. Performances take place at Dance Parties. |
| Pilates | A core strengthening technique designed to build strentgth, stamina, and flexibility. Excellent for dancers! |
| Salsa | This fiery dance originated in Cuba, and has become extremely popular for all ages. |
| Women's Latin Dance Workshop | Three lesson unit that focuses on a specific latin dance. Included are the basic dance steps, styling technique, and choreography. Presented in standalone format, no partners. |
| Yoga | Monique is certified in Hatha yoga and incorperates Vinyasa technique in her classes. |
| Yoga Pilates Blend | This class is a fusion of Yoga and Pilates technique. |
